What would you ask Jesus?
Tonight while reading a bible story, the question at the end was what would you ask Jesus if he came for dinner. Abbie immediately started singing Jesus loves me. Micah went next. He said he would tell Jesus he loves him, and ask him how he made the whole earth. Noah went next and he wanted to tell Jesus that he wanted to live in heaven with him, that he loves him and that he wanted to give Jesus a big hug in heaven if Jesus wasn't invisible anymore. It was a great night to be their mom. :)

Give it a shot....or 5
This week Noah had to have some shots that he didn't get last week at his checkup because he had a cold. We were there for Hayden's first well baby check up, and I thought I would tie it all in together. I wasn't aware of the # of shots and I didn't tell Noah for fear of his reaction. Then the Dr. walked in and said, so Noah, you're here for shots? Not good. He got really upset and then I asked how many and found out that they were out of combo shots so he had them all separately. 5 shots for a poor little 4 year old. Not fair. They were in his arm, and when she did the 2nd shot, Noah yelled, she got my bone!! It wasn't funny to this crying, postpartum mommy at the time, but now, I think that is so a Noah thing to say. Since I felt so bad for him, we hit McDonalds for happy meals and shakes. Made Noah and Mommy feel so much better. :)

More Teeth Lost
Micah lost 2 more teeth last week. Wed. he stayed home from school, and a bottom tooth came out. I was sure the top on would have come out, but that bottom one surprised us and fell out first. The next day Micah came home from school and had the little manilla envelope in his hand that I remember from being in elementary school. He had lost the tooth during lunch while eating a cookie!! He was so proud!! He looks so cute with that big gaping hole in his mouth. :)

A few from this week.....
I was putting Abbie to bed the other night, and I have been trying to get her to close her eyes to pray. So I reminded her, started praying and then I started hearing her talk. I opened my eyes just a bit and she was covering her turtles eyes, saying shhh, eyes closed. It was so cute!!
Noah was talking about grandma's kittens today, and he was telling me about Micah's cat who he named Rose, but Kiersten named Kallie. I told him that the cat was dead, so it didn't matter anymore. To which he responds, no one gets her now.....(long pause) except for God. So cute, and innocent!!

Micah's Wipe Out
We had our first snow last Friday, Dec. 9. The little ones and I played in the snow for a good part of the morning, it was a lot of fun. After school Micah wanted to go sledding on the little hill next to our house. Both Noah and Abbie were sleeping, so I told him to go ahead. After about 20 minutes, Micah came in and his face was a mess! He has gone down the hill on his knees, and hit a rock on the way down, and it threw him from his sled and into the small drain pond that is at the bottom of the hill. Apparently he went in head first! He was full of mud and his hat, gloves and coat were soaked. I couldn't help but laugh and he took it like a trooper! Jeremy has started calling him crash and burn....a name he is not too fond of. :) He ended up with a pretty good "road rash" on his chin, he will have lots of questions at school.

Micah's Dream
Micah woke up yesterday and said he slept so good, because he had two great dreams. He could only remember one though. Here it is:
Me, Grandpa, Joel and Noah were cutting wood (something they have never done). Then a big buck came up to us. Joel told me to hold it's tail while he went and got his bow. So I did and then Joel got the deer.
It was a great dream mom!!

I've joined the blogging world!!
Lately my kids have been saying and doing the greatest things, and I don't want to forget them, like I have in the past. With each passing kid, day, year, I so easily forget what little things they do and say that make me love being a mom. So starting today, I will work my best to write it all down, in hopes of printing it all up someday for my kids to read.
Micah: Nov. 19th, lost his first tooth
Noah: Nov. 19th, Quote: Do I have to take my short underwear off? (he was putting on long underwear to go to work with Jeremy)
Noah: Nov. 25th, Quote: We couldn't go to the bank because the van is leaking freezing anna (antifreeze)
Abbie: Dude is becoming her favorite word....wonder where she gets that having 2 older brothers!!
Abbie: Nov. 19th, moved to a big girl bed
